By reading on Libressa you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, and the parts that cost money are near the top rather than buried.
Libressa is a library of interactive fiction, operated by:
HYPELAB, digitalni marketing, d.o.o.

Company registration number (matična številka): 9852131000

The stories are fiction. Characters, companies and events are invented, and any resemblance to a real person or business is coincidental.
Every book opens free, and the rest of it is paid for in gems, scene by scene, as you read.
The free part. Three scenes without an account, eight scenes once you have one. These are free in every book, and they are the whole of what is free.
The paid part. Every scene after the opening costs gems. A scene is read in two halves and you are charged for each half as you tap Continue: 10 gems a half early in a book, 15 through the middle chapters, 30 from chapter twelve, and 35 for the final six scenes of any book — so a scene costs 20, 30, 60 or 70 gems depending on where you are. The price is shown on the button before you tap it.
Premium choices. Some choices cost a further 15, 20, 25 or 30 gems on top of the scene you have already paid for. Each shows its price before you tap. There is always a way onward that costs nothing beyond the scene itself.
A whole book. Reading one book to an ending comes to roughly 1,500 gems, which is about $150 at US pack prices. You are never asked to pay that at once, and you are free to stop at any point, but you should know the figure before you begin.
Gem prices, the length of the free opening and the size of any gift can change for books you have not yet read. They never change retroactively for a scene you have already unlocked, and a change is never applied to a purchase you have already made.
You can read the first eight scenes of every book without giving us anything. Tapping Start reading creates an anonymous account so your progress is saved — no email, no form. Adding an email later does not change what you can read; it is what lets your library and your gems follow you to another phone.
An anonymous account is tied to that installation. If you delete the app, or move to a new phone, without adding an email address, that account — and any gems in it — cannot be recovered. Adding an email is the only way to prevent this, and we tell you so inside the app. You must be 16 or older.
VIP is an optional auto-renewing subscription. Before you subscribe, the app shows the price, the period and the renewal terms with the same prominence as the button.
What Libressa+ gives you. An allowance of 7 Continues per week — about three and a half scenes — counted by our servers, reset each week on the anniversary of the day you subscribed, with nothing carried over; and 20% extra gems on every gem pack you buy while it is active. Past the seven, and for premium choices, you spend gems — and the bonus makes them go further.
Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. There is no free trial; the introductory first week is a reduced paid week. Manage or cancel in your Apple account settings; cancelling stops the next charge and you keep VIP until the paid period ends. When it ends, scenes you unlocked stay unlocked, scenes you did not stay locked, the weekly allowance and the pack bonus stop, and gems you bought are never taken back. See Support for the exact steps.
Apple is the seller of record for everything you buy in Libressa. Refunds are granted by Apple under Apple's policy, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but tell us and we will support the request.
If a purchase is refunded, we remove the corresponding gems from the balance. If they have already been spent, the balance may go to zero rather than negative.
The stories are ours (or licensed to us). Read them, enjoy them, quote a line to a friend. Do not copy, republish, scrape or redistribute them, and do not use them to train a model. Do not attempt to reach paid content without paying, or interfere with the service for other readers.
We may suspend an account that does these things. If we do it in error, tell us and we will put it right.
Books are added, and occasionally a book is withdrawn — a rights issue, or a story that needs rewriting. If a book you have unlocked scenes in is withdrawn, write to us and we will make it right. Prices can change, but never for a purchase you have already made.
We work hard to keep Libressa available and correct, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected — including, in the UK, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and in Australia the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
You can delete your account at any time from You → Delete account. That erases your progress, your unlocked scenes and your gem balance. Unspent gems are not refunded on deletion, because they were sold as a consumable and are consumed on unlock — so if you have a balance you care about, spend it first.
