Libressa is a library of interactive romance novels. You read a scene, you choose, and the story goes where you sent it. Every book has endings most readers never see.
Every book opens free. The first eight scenes, from the first tap — no sign-up needed. After that each scene costs gems, and gems are bought with money.
A whole book comes to roughly 1,500 gems — about $150 at US pack prices. Almost nobody pays that in one go; readers buy a few scenes at a time, and many stop partway. We put the number here because you should be able to see it before you spend anything, not in chapter twelve.
A scene is read in two halves, and you pay as you go: each tap of Continue is one charge. The price is printed on the button before you tap it, and it depends on how deep in the book you are.
| Where you are | Each Continue | A whole scene |
|---|---|---|
| The opening — 8 scenes, or 3 without an account | free | free |
| After the opening, to the end of chapter 5 | 10 gems | 20 gems |
| Chapters 6–11 | 15 gems | 30 gems |
| Chapters 12–16 | 30 gems | 60 gems |
| The last six scenes of any book | 35 gems | 70 gems |
Some choices are premium and cost 15, 20, 25 or 30 gems on top of the scene you have already paid for. Each is marked with its price before you tap it, there is always a way on that costs nothing extra, and a 30-gem choice can only be paid for with gems you bought.
A scene you have unlocked stays unlocked. Re-read it, start the book again and choose differently, or read it on a new phone — you never pay twice for the same scene.
A new account starts with 20 gems, enough for one scene early in a book. Those are a gift, and gifted gems expire 14 days after we give them to you — the app shows you the date. Gems you buy never expire. Gifted gems are always spent first, so what you paid for lasts longest.
| Pack | Gems | US price |
|---|---|---|
| Small Pack | 20 | $1.99 |
| Tonight | 70 | $4.99 |
| Popular Pack | 160 | $9.99 |
| Big Pack | 350 | $19.99 |
| Collector | 1,000 | $49.99 |
These are US prices; the App Store charges you in your own currency and the local amount is shown before you confirm. Your first pack of $4.99 or more carries 30% extra gems, up to 100 extra.
Libressa+ is a weekly allowance. 7 Continues every week — about three and a half scenes — counted by our servers and reset on the anniversary of the day you subscribed, with nothing carried over.
It also carries 20% extra gems on any pack you buy while it is active. US price is $9.99 a week, with a paid first week at $4.99, or $79.99 a year. There is no free trial. Cancelling stops the next charge; scenes you unlocked stay unlocked, and scenes you did not stay locked.
